In 2023, the Open Sea Class at the YCM Marina provided a unique opportunity for exhibitors and market entrants. Alongside traditional challenges such as manoeuvrability trials and endurance races, the event featured an exciting new addition: the YCM E-Boat Rally for electric boats. This 21-nautical mile round trip from Monaco to Cala del Forte in Ventimiglia allowed contestants to recharge their boats and showcase their innovations to the Italian public. The rally offered a glimpse into the future of recreational boating and promoted sustainable maritime technology, fostering collaboration and innovation in the evolving field of eco-friendly boating.
