Discovering Maritime Innovation

Installed in the YCM Marina, SeaLab is an opportunity to find out more about avant-garde projects, prototypes and demonstrators, including non-EU certificated boats in the Open Sea Class.

Upon entering the SeaLab, visitors are greeted with a curated selection of prototypes and demonstrators, each telling a story of ingenuity, design, and sustainability. These models represent the culmination of countless hours of research, design, and testing, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the maritime realm.

A standout feature of the SeaLab is its inclusion of non-EU certificated boats within the Open Sea Class. These vessels, although not holding the standard European certifications, are a testament to the global nature of innovation. They offer a glimpse into international design philosophies and engineering approaches, broadening the horizons of attendees.

Interactive displays and informative panels accompany each exhibit, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the technology, design principles, and vision behind each project. For those keen on the technical aspects, experts are often on hand to discuss the intricacies of the designs and the challenges faced during development.

In essence, the SeaLab is not just a display area but an immersive experience. It’s a journey through the forefront of marine technology, celebrating the passion, dedication, and innovation that drives the future of sustainable boating. Whether you’re a seasoned maritime professional or a newcomer to the world of boating, the insights and inspirations found within the SeaLab are bound to leave a lasting impression.

SeaLab Poontoon

The SEALAB Pontoon is a dynamic display area set against the backdrop of the marina’s waters. Here, attendees can witness firsthand a range of avant-garde marine projects, prototypes, and demonstrators. As they walk along the pontoon, they are afforded close-up views of cutting-edge vessels, each representing the latest advancements in sustainable boating.

Meeting Room

Transitioning from the open expanse of the pontoon, the Meeting Room offers a more intimate and focused environment. This space is not just for discussions and collaborations but also serves as a showcase area. Within its confines, visitors can explore a curated selection of maritime innovations, displayed with detailed information panels and interactive modules.
