Presentation of the updated rules of participation and program for the 10th edition of the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge, under the aegis of the Yacht Club de Monaco’s collective umbrella brand, Monaco, Capital of Advanced Yachting. The event brings together universities and industry to discuss sustainability in yachting and alternative propulsion systems.
This year, for the 10th anniversary, we will be welcoming over fifty electric units on the water, some using hydrogen, and competing in the Energy, Solar & Open Sea Classes. The Notice of Race for the Solar and Energy classes is now published on the MEBC website, announcing to teams the updated rules and schedule for the challenge. The Notice of Race for the Open Sea class, sailing instructions and technical rules will soon follow on the website. The next step for teams will be the opening of online pre-registration on Thursday, September 15.
