        Sailing Technology to achieve Low carbon agenda in the maritime industry
        Interventions followed by a quick round table between the participants & a Q&A

      • Barbara Amerio – Co-Owner of Permare and Amer Yacht
        The development of Filava fibre and its use in yacht construction. The challenge for certification of new material for its structural use.
      • Paolo Manganelli – Gurit – Principal Engineer
        Technical presentation about the development of material solutions issued from recycled products, bio sourced epoxy resin & structure calculation for the use of these new materials for energy efficiency of yachts.

      • JO 2024 – Reducing carbon impact through innovation
        Speaker Georgina Grenon – Environmental Excellence Director
      • World Sailing – Global sustainability initiatives for the marine industry in the next 5 years.
        Speaker: Dan Reading – Head of Sustainability – LifeCycle assessment inclusion in WS decision making
      • APER – Recreational boat dismantling industry – APER, The first deconstruction division for pleasure boats, a step forward in the reflection on the life cycle of boats.
