Monaco Energy Boat Challenge - Roundtable
During the Monaco Ocean Week taking place from March 20-25th 2022, the Yacht Club de Monaco is organizing an afternoon session on Thursday March 24th from 4pm, on the theme: "Sustainability and added value of a Zero Emission goal”, as part of its Monaco Energy Boat Challenge program. Bringing together the different business sectors involved in the superyacht industry, from shipyards to brokers, insurers, architects, charter and yacht managers, the expert panelists will discuss the market perception and value of yachts designed to be as eco-responsible as possible. The repercussions for new units will be examined as well as the resale value of pre-owned yachts. The roundtable will be preceded by two short keynotes that will set the context:- The evolution of regulations and limitations for cruising areas for combustion engine-powered vessels, in the Med and beyond
- The anticipated obligations pertaining to superyacht emissions reduction
- An update on the SEA Index
